Student Diversity and Specialized Needs
The International Students and Scholars Office provides pre-arrival information to help international students prepare for their Alliant programs, gives advice on matters of concern, and refers students to appropriate resources. The ISSO serves as liaison to organizations sponsoring international students and to U.S. government agencies.
Veteran and Military Students
The Office of Veteran Services is committed to providing military and veteran students with the access to academic, personal and financial support you need to thrive at Alliant.
Students with Disabilities
The Office of Accessibility provides authorized accommodations to students with qualified disabilities.
International-Multicultural Education, Research, Intervention, and Training (IMERIT) Committee
The I-MERIT committee is an essential foundation of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The system-wide I-MERIT committee is led by staff and faculty chairs and is open to students from each campus who lead important projects through service on one of three sub-committees: Feedback and Assessment, Training and Development, Events and Programming.
Celebrating cultures and diversity is an innate ability and significant benefit to being a part of Alliant. All are invited to visit I-MERIT’s virtual Diversity Tree that symbolizes and celebrates our growing diverse community and provides an opportunity to educate, bring awareness, and demonstrate an appreciation of the community reflected throughout the organization.
