Hello! I moved to California from the East Coast. I appreciate all the beauty and diversity California holds while bringing my southern hospitality with me. I am a second-generation student and know how challenging navigating educational systems can be. I am excited to pursue my dream of becoming a clinical psychologist. I picked this program to use my educational time to positively impact those who need it because the demand is so high. I am passionate about health psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma-based modalities. I hope to be involved in policy in the future, advocating for children and older adults, our most vulnerable populations.

Advice to first year students: You have worked really hard to get here and it will feel intimidating in the beginning but you are capable of great things! You have already shown it by getting to this point!
