My name is Nicollette Balassanian and I am an advanced doctoral trainee pursuing my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology, Alliant International University. I received my M.A. in Psychology from Pepperdine Graduate School of Education and Psychology and my B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Northridge. My clinical experience includes working with children, teens, and adults from culturally and linguistically diverse populations by providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy as well as psychological assessments.

Research Interests: Dating Applications, Desirability, and it's impact on our mental health.
Favorite part of the program: The knowledge of experience the professors have and share with the class, that adds so much value to our courses beyond even the curriculum.

Advice to first year students: Even when everything feels overwhelming, know that you have support all around you and all you have to do is ask for it!
