Hello! My name is Holley Hargraves. Originally from Oceanside, California, I am a San Diego native who has a passion for traveling and seeing the world. I received my undergraduate degree from Pepperdine University and I am in the process of doing my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology, with an emphasis on Trauma-Focused Forensics. I love to immerse myself in different cultures, particularly through learning languages and cooking traditional recipes. I adore animals, music, and making new friends.
Fun Fact: I have a twin brother who is my best friend!
Research Interests: My interests primarily lie in psychopharmacology, forensics, and addiction.
Favorite part of the program: I love the passion that everyone has for research and psychology and how this connects people to one and another!
Advice to first year students: Remember that if you have been accepted, you are here for a reason. Do not doubt yourself in your abilities to get to the finish line simply by taking it one day at a time; your potential has already been seen, it is just your turn to believe in it as well.
