My name is Catherine Phillips. After a 15-year career in Commercial Real Estate in San Francisco and being a mom of two, (6 and 10) I decided to return to school to get my Masters and MultiSubject Teaching Credential. My passion is literacy and authentic learning. I teach clinics for sailboat racing and my hobbies include reading, knitting and camping with my family.
Fun Fact: Sailboat Racing - Skipper of Ono, a J29, Girl Scout Troop 2015 Leader.
Research Interests: Equity, Homework, Co-teaching Efficacy, Inclusive Classroom Effect on Acheivement Gaps
Favorite part of the program: I love the weekly discussion forums and RISE feedback. I have learned so much from other students through these discussions.
