Ari Brasso (She/Her)

Hometown: El Dorado Hills, CA

Hello! My name is Ari Brasso and I am in my first year (G1) at Alliant. I am originally from Sacramento, CA, but have spent the past several years in the San Diego area. I graduated from California State University San Marcos with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and came directly to Alliant to continue pursuing my passion. I am deeply committed to mental health and helping others, and I am excited to be part of the Alliant community as I work toward that goal.

Fun Fact: I have 2 dogs, both named after famous musicians. Ziggy, after Ziggy Marley and Jagger, after Mick Jagger.

Research Interests: Child development and Mortality

Favorite part of the program: The people. Every single faculty member is so intelligent and kind. They all teach so beautifully. My peers are wonderful too. The best of the best; they are so caring and compassionate always.

Advice to first year students: It seems so scary and overwhelming, but you are here for a reason. You are capable and have a bright future!
